Automation, not a hidden-object map

The game moves from hand processing into machines and hay-product production. A static “all needle locations” list would not describe that system.

Why use the lowest stage rate?

For a serial line where each stage processes the same unit, the slowest stage limits steady throughput. Buffers and changing recipes can alter real behaviour.
